Help S7 doesn't always receive calls

On a few known occasions now my s7 has not picked up incoming calls, obv it's hard to know of any other occurrences.

It seems to happen after the phone has been untouched for long periods as if the bits responsible for receiving the call and then ringing turn off/ go into a standby state, once the phone is picked screen woken up etc it's fine it's generally not happening as in usually always doing something on it.
After such a known period if I make an immediate test call after waking it up it takes an age to connect giving the dialing symbol/message (having not connected to the receiving phone).

I don't believe its a network issue I think it's more software and something sleeping that shouldn't, the network signal is also showing full.

The only app I can think that I have is the Samsung lockscreen modifier (forget the name)

Any help appreciated.. Thanks
