Help S7 Edge lock screen app not working

I am having an issue with the lock screen quick launch apps not working. The camera works and the quick dialer worked when it was set, but when I change the dialer to another app, it doesn't launch it. It just goes to the pin input unlock screen. Any advice?

You have to enter your pin before the app can launch

The documentation declares that it is supposed to launch the app without any pin input, the same as the camera and dialer work.

Strange. My camera opens without pin, but my dialer doesn't

Yeah, it kind of defeats the purpose of "quick launch". Very frustrating.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess "quick launch" is just a very misleading term. It still takes fewer 'keystrokes' to unlock the phone and open the app. I love my Edge, but this should have been left off.

It's marshmallow. There's a few things on there that they've changed from lollipop that's a pita.
