Help S7 Lost screen brightness slider

[Android Question]

I am in the UK and gave a Samsung S7 which came with Marshmallow OS yesterday morning installed Nougat... all went well.. but the Screen Brightness slider is no longer on the home screen .. ( think its called the homescreen ) which is something I use a lot .. now have to use the dropdown AND extend it to get to the brightness slider.. any way to get it back on home or to have a slider on the home screen?
