s8 plus daughter board

Hi all a newbie on here im looking for information regarding a daughter board replacement on my galaxy s8 plus
the charger port is broke so i bought a daughter board from a UK supplier on the internet but it has only 1 connector port on the earphone area of the item i received where as you tube videos show 2 wire ports on there daughter boards

the 1 on the left is the item i received where the 1 on the right is the same as the you tube videos ive not yet opened my s8 until i get an idea of why these boards are different
 
I think they are antenna connectors, my HTC 10 has two, probably one for Wi-Fi and the other for GSM.
 
The other connector might be on the other side of the board?

Charging boards aren't always identical, in one of my posts I've pointed out that, the replacement board I bought even has an additional IC that doesn't exist on the original board but it works well with my phone.
 
Different variants or versions of the S8 Plus possibly? Namely the Snapdragon and Exynos variants. One part is meant to fit Snapdragon logic-boards, and other is for Exynos logic-boards. Just a guess of course.

Could be different versions of the S8 Plus, like earlier V1, and later a V2 version. You know, "We are constantly improving our products and therefore we reserve the right to change the design and technical......" blah, blah, blah

I'm not sure the one on the left is the 'improved' version. Lots of missing circuitry there.
 
I'd also check where the YouTube video is from - as we've noted, North American Samsungs have different internals than the rest of the world, so a video or teardown of a North American model is quite likely to differ.
 
lv426 ive contacted the supplier but as yet no answers, i bought this s8 plus pre owned and the phone is around 1 year old the seller informed me and was purchased new in the UK
 
The model number will tell you. I'd expect a UK handset to be a G955F, possibly a G955FD if dual-SIM, You can look up here what the other models are.
 
Stripped down the s8 plus and the board i bought is the correct one for my s8 but i broke the rear screen in removing it :saddroid: but cheap as chips on internet and i can still use it while its in its outer case so not a total fail so thanks for all your replies :thumbsupdroid:

No lvt i presume they are for the non UK/EU version the supplier did contact me via email and assured me it was the item for my s8 plus and i have replied stating it is the correct daughter board but i just wanted to be sure :)
