Root Safe to delete?

Looking through Titanium Backup, I can see a of apps/system data from the stock HTC ROM I had before I flashed another ROM. Since it seems very unlikely that I will go back to the stock ROM (and also that each time I flashed a new sense ROM I got all the same stuff again from that ROM) is it ok, or dangerous to delete the backups from TB? It just seems to be taking up an awful lot of space on my SD card.

Also, I found a folder on my SD called 'Virtuous Unity' that contains an unzipped pack of the aforementioned ROM. Now that i'm not using it, I guess that is definitely safe to delete? (Just want to be sure :D)

I've been wondering that about the Titanium Backup thing for a while... I would have thought that you should be ok deleting the info, but I'd wait for the all clear from someone with a bit more knowledge on that.

If you did want to go back to stock (for any reason), it'd just mean that you'd be starting completely afresh, but I guess that wouldn't matter!!

I'm not sure which apps you're referring to. When you installed a new ROM is will have removed everything from your stock ROM, assuming you did it properly and did a factory reset.

Perhaps you could list the ones you want to remove? And which rom are you on at the moment?

Is it also safe to delete the zip of the rom I am currently using?

Yeah, that's fine.

The apps I want to delete are the ones that came with the stock sense ROM that I got when I bought the phone. So things like Facebook for HTC Sense, HTC widgets, bloatware that came with the phone (e.g Sims 3 demo, quickoffice, soundhound, twitter etc.)

I am currently on BlackIce (AOSP ROM) and I don't see myself returning to a sense ROM, and if I do the new ROM would contain all the relevant apps anyway.

Oh sorry, I thought you meant they were installed rather than just backups, my mistake.

No, you don't need to keep them.

Thanks guys :)

Sorry to ask again, but just to be 1000% sure, will it be fine to delete the system apps that come with the stock sense ROM? It would free up a lot of room from my SD card.

I am currently doing a backup of my ROM just in case I do something :p Plus i'm about to flash another ROM :p

Edit: I have two backups of TB kept in folders on my computer, so I will still have all the data in case I need it again
