Hello to all the members! I would like to start off by saying that I am a mod enthusiast. I love flashing and changing things up a bit. I have to add that I am some what of a novice. My first smartphone was the samsung intercept and now I have a optimus v. I am very partial to virgin mobile, but I see there is not a lot of developer interest for this carrier. One day I hope to learn how to invent my own roms and help people out with phones that don't have the developer interest. I "root" for the underdog! lol Any information and learning tools that i can get my hands on would be the best. So, if anyone has any learning experiences that they would like to let me in on I would greatly appreciate it! thanx!

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!

There have been a good number of new Optimus V members lately so maybe you will see more activity for that phone. It is considered a mid-level phone , however, which may account for the lackluster interest by hardcore modders. They always seem to go for the top end phones first and then take the bottom performers just to see if they can get it to work. The Optimus is the middle child.
