Help Sams J3 question

Hi all, On my Galaxy S4 the lower left menu key displays a context-sensitive menu of options where I can select setting for the running app.

My wife has a new Galaxy J3 and this lower left key offers a "Close All" feature.

Question: Where can I access the menu key same as my S4 that I can select setting for the running app?

Thanks for any help.

Yeah, uniformity of all apps and interfaces is not necessarily one of Android's strong points. Contextual menus can be buried in a hamburger icon, a three dots icon, or a button. But I think what you're looking for on your S4 is doing a long press on the Home button. With TouchWiz that brings up a window to close all apps. If you do a long press on the Home button a second time, the 'close all' icon will be greyed out and there will be two other icons to 'Clear memory' and doing a web search. If your S4 is acting oddly you might be able to clear up some problem by doing a 'Close all' and then a 'Clear memory', but generally for day-to-day usage you're better off just leaving things alone and letting Android do its own memory management. If there is specific app you suspect to be causing a problem, try going to the 'Applications manager' in Settings and tapping on that app's 'Force stop' and 'Clear cache' buttons.
