Samsung 10.1 wifi only tablet

would a bluetooth external gps antenna enable my wifi only samsung 10.1
tablet to receive gps while airborne. I know that a cached map source is necessary, but what I wonder is whether this device is capable of locating
its position while airborne with no cellular data available.

Welcome to AF, 1davida! To be honest, you shouldn't need anything, as GPS uses satellites to locate your position, not a data connection. So as long as you have cached maps, you should be able to use your GPS without anything else at all. Hope this helps!
