Help Samsung Admire signal

All of a sudden I'll look at my phone and will see white signal bars, indicating signal at little or none. This causes applications to not work properly because they can't reach servers/the network. Does anyone know why this happens or what to do to prevent it? Maybe use another PRL? Or APN? ot really sure what those are exactly, although have a general idea. I don't think it's an Android thing or a Samsung thing, though maybe it's a cricket thing. ANyhow, looking for a solution. Thanks.

Might just be a bad signal in your area. You could try flashing different prls to see if it helps
