Help samsung admire wont DL any apps from android market

I can get to the accept and download part, but when I click on the button it looks like its downloading but it just sits there and doesn't actually download the app. plus when I try to uninstall and app that I downloaded previously from a different app store (it doesn't have any good apps that why I want to use the android market) it does the same thing, it looks like its uninstalling but it doesn't it just has the loading bar forever. please help, should I return the phone?

try clearing the google play store data and the google services framework data and then reboot the phone. if that doesnt work then try a factory reset. if that doesnt then idk
