Samsung Android Phone running Android 2.1

Yea I saw it too, looks nice. Almost looks like an update to the Behold II, the camera app has the same look, though thats probably just the TouchWiz look they like. The cpu spec was never released for the behold ii, i wonder if its similar and if so, maybe this could be ported back. Just wishful thinking.
 
I'm pretty sure its the 528 mhz chip in the B2, just like all of the other first gen Android phones.

I figure they have to release 2.1 to us once this is released.
 
Right but then they won't be able to sell us a new phone. The way some people seem to be willing to buy a new phone every time one comes out with a new feature I think it may take the android community porting it to get us 2.0.
 
Did you notice how big the keys are on the keyboard? I truly hope this is a blueprint for a touchwiz/2.1 update
 
Galaxy 2. Now this nebulous thing w/800mhz... We've been had!
I am however, feelin' the larger keyboards...but what is with that antenna??? And the face, Sammy, the face. I am not impressed with the face of this thing nor the Galaxy2. They have no finesse...It needs to make more of a statement.

Say what you will, the Droid makes a statement - It's big, rectangular and you either love it or hate it...it has its own identity. The HTC line pretty much has cornered the market on sexiness. The Behold 2 is gorgeous...it just has no guts, poor thing. And the MyTouch are cute little zippy things for the young or young-at-heart. These new Sammies are bleh.

Btw: I use the ShapeWriter Keyboard and it is growing on me

can you give me the link as to where you got yours because the on i downloaded gives me an error saying it does not support my screen size. You are using the behold 2 right?

I believe the antenna gives them tv signal you know like how old big box tv's used to work? and if a keyboard is literally growing on you then you should get that checked lol jk I know its a figure of speech.

LOL - I thought about that after I typed it and said...that looks wierd, LOL...But hey - Most people here are geekish and they understand wierd, LOL
 
I had no problem with the form factor of the SB2. If I were to get all excited about this puppy, can I be assured that they will keep the OS current with updates? Or will they give us the pretty casing and dump us, the way that they did with SB2?

I have lost all confidence in Samsung and unless they provide restitution on the SB2, I have no intention of spending any money with them and will share my experience with others. For their lack of loyalty, I am giving them the business they deserve...NONE. I will wait for the Bravo. - As former President Bush would say, "Fool me once "
 
I agree with that sentiment NowVoyager. Their track record is shoddy, but maybe if they can get their new Bada OS off the ground & running, software updates would be a seemlees transition for their future lineup. Unfortunately, those of us invested in their current stock are relegated to the red-headed step child treatment.
