Samsung App not working

When I first bought my Samsung Galaxy 3 I didn't have a problem using Facebook on it now when I touch the Facebook app the Samsung goes black for several seconds and then goes back to the apps page. Facebook doesn't come up at all. This seems to have started after I updated a few days ago. Also I am trying to get the Yates gardening app for my android but cannot locate it anywhere, even though I know it exists. I need help please.

Have you tried clearing cache and data on the app, if that does not help, then try uninstalling the app, and then re install it and see if that resolves the issue. If you still have issues, I will direct you to your device forum for proper support. Welcome to the site.
