New to the forum and I just wanted to say that as of Today, ATT finally (Via Samsung's website) allowed the 2.2 Froyo update. Mine went flawless and never lost one bit of previous information. Downloaded flash from the market place and I am good to go. Was giving ATT till March 1st or I was going to root my phone and install myself. Love Android!!
