Samsung Centura MMS from Iphone issues

Greetings everyone! I am new to owning a smart phone and I am having an issue receiving mms messages from friends who are using an Iphone 5...however, given the nature and premise behind android I am hopeful there is a solution here. I am unable to respond to MMS group messages aside from responding to single individuals. I have the samsung centura (the smoking deal from wal-mart) and I am hopeful that the knowledge base of this group can steer me in the right direction. Thanks everyone!
