Hiya every 1 :) got a samsung tab2 given because it wouldnt charger. So i stipped it down when i took the board out the inards of the chargee dock/port fell out :/ .. now i desoldered the rest and cleaned the pads up. Infortunatly there was about 5 or 6 pads ripped off the board due to the damaged port previously. Is there any way of fixing this? Cheers for any help in advance. :)

Sorry for missing your post on the 18th. The only way I have solved that problem is to locate a solder access point on the other side of the broken trace. Years ago there were feed throughs at the ends of each component that could be accessed. Today most components are surface mounted making solder access difficult. Sometimes gentle scraping on the trace will expose the copper which can be tinned and soldered to. Once solder access points are located, use a single wire from a section of stranded wire to provide a connection between the access point and the respective pin on the connector. You may have to add some adhesive between the connector and the board to insure it won't come loose.

Aw thank you for your reply. I might have to try that the scrapping because i can find any solder acess points :) thank you again ;)
