Samsung docks/stand/chargers

I've been looking at these on Samsung's site. I've noticed something that might be a consideration for SGN2 users. It can be a bit confusing distinguishing which is which.

Waiting on my Note 2 to arrive but that Smart Dock is one of the available options that moved me from the I-5 to the Note 2. Besides the charging mode it opens a lot of other features including full scale USB devices.

I was looking to buy the dock (actually a stand as you pointed out) with the extra battery for $50 (they are on backorder) but didn't realize that they don't charge your phone while it is sitting on it. I'm not too concerned that this charger uses the slower charger for the battery stored in the compartment since it is a backup battery.

I may need to rethink my plans...

Thanks for the tip for the Verizon Wireless store for the Samsung Smart Dock II!!

These are finally in stock in the USA at the Verizon Wireless store!

I searched for any discount codes - but could not wait.

So I paid full price $99+tax -and plan to use this with my AT&T Note 2

This will save me the hours i have already spent checking daily for the Smart Dock II at at the Samsung store!
