Help Samsung factory reset instead of calendar sync!

obmitty

Ok, this week has been hell. My Samsung galaxy s2 running Android gingerbread 2.3.5 was working fine, and then stopped syncing my office 365 calander.

This I'm sure is office 365's fault, as it seems to be a new issue with a lot of people and also on my wife's galaxy ace.

In the process of trying to sort all this I did a factory reset and then re-installed the server settings for 365 which were accepted (but ineffective).

If I do nothing, the phone is fine but still doesn't sync.

If I try and sync... Suddenly it turns itself off and does a factory reset!! Everything is gone!

This problem is causing me major problems in my job, any ideas on what to do are most welcome!

The only thing I can think of is to clear data for 365 in applications, manage applications. But since its effecting lots of people someones probably thought of that. Do you have an option to unusual update. If you do go back to the previous version as it used to be fine. If not I guess its got to be use a third pay app until they sort the problem out.
