Help Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 to TV issue

Saying Hi with a question please

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 - Model SM-G357FZ and there is some film footage on there I would like to view on my Samsung HDTV. According to my research I am not able to do this as the phone is not MHL enabled.
Has anyone successfully found a way to view content from the phone onto the TV?

I have tried a standard mini HDMI to HDMI cable but the TV does not recognise the device.Seems strange these days that far less superior devices are able to do this quite easily!

Has anyone got any work arounds on this issue - apart from buy a new phone

Do you have Samsung smart link on your phone? This allows you to connect via wifi to a smart tv

Thanks. Issue here is my TV is not a smart TV.

Going the wifi direction,Is there a preferred HDMI dongle that would do the job?

Chromecast would probably do the job. You'd need localcast installed on the phone too: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.stefanpledl.localcast

There are other sticks/solutions out there, but my chromecast has never let me down.

For like £35 and many benefits/giveaways from Google, chromecast would be my #1 choice
