Help Samsung Galaxy Ace (Internet problem)

Lurker
Hi all,

So I just bought my Samsung Galaxy ace.
After a day getting to know the phone, there's an internet issue coming to my attention.
I downloaded WatchDog to keep sight on my internet usage. When I was done checking the internet and apps and stuff, I checked my WatchDog.
The internet usage was 5.41 MB
After like... 20minutes(I guess) I checked it again, and saw my internet usage was 5.55MB.
So then I decided to use AirPlane mode, to disconnect all wireless connections. My internet usage remained the same.
After awhile I felt like checking again, disabling the Air Plane mode and here we go. Let's see
I let it disabled for 2minutes, and guess what? My internet usage is now 5.63MB

I Know this isn't much though, but I'm pretty annoyed by it. So everytime when I'm done internetting I have to enable Air Plane mode? Doesn't really seem to me that this is meant to happen.

(I haven't updated it yet to 2.3.4 because I want to have this fixed first)

Help?

Gmail running in the background?,facebook syncs? What apps have you installed? a lot of apps require internet access so could quite possibly be one of those.

Nope, I killed all active apps.
And the only apps I have installed are WatchDog, angry birds, Beautiful widgets and eBuddy.

New problem btw:
Internet doesn't work anymore.
From the beginning I had in the topleft a "new" message wich contains a configuration message. It was some kind of installer for my browser. I installed it, but it just wouldn't get away there. So I tried installing again. And then I cancelled it.
After that my internet stopped working and when I try to open that message(it's still there) it'll just turn to the main phone display

;S

Most apps you kill restart themselves just as fast,i honestly wouldn't worry about it, your phone will always send data as it's an android, google is always working away in the background.
