Hoping someone can help..... I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Core today. At home I have a laptop (Windows7) that I have setup as a wireless hotspot that I can connect other devices to share the Internet. The Samsung Galaxy Core can see the available wireless networks, but not the wireless hotspot from my laptop. I have a second computer connected to the wireless hotspot, the Samsung just does not see my wireless hotspot. Any ideas?

It may or may not be helpful to you. I did think it was interesting though.
What seemed to work for this fellow was disabling his firewall or antivirus. His phone COULD see the network though...
