I just upgraded my phone from a Galaxy Ace to the new Galaxy Fame. I use the 3x4 keyboard. Found that I cannot save a new word/add to the dictionary in predictive text (head bang) Virgin tech couldn't help and put me in touch with Samsung who told me I CAN'T add new words "This is an issue and we are working on it". The guy told me they were getting lots of calls about this from unhappy customers and will hopefully resolve the issue with the next update. It is driving me NUTS. I was told that if I keep putting the new word into non predictive text the phone will eventually recognise the word and add it but this isn't happening. Or do I need to add the word tens of times?
I am wondering why I can't find anything about this issue when I search the internet. Anyone else bothered by this problem? Any idea how long it is likely to take Samsung to 'fix' the problem? I have got just 14 days to send back my upgraded handset and I don't know whether to hang on to it in the hopes the glitch will eventually be fixed or whether to throw it back and go back to an Ace.
