Samsung Galaxy Fit: No Internet Access

I signed up with AT&T for cell service when I got the phone. It turned out to be too expensive, so I changed to Consumer Cellular. I'm able to make and receive phone calls, but now I have no Internet access. I can't get news, weather, email, etc. I did not buy the phone from AT&T. How can I get my Internet access back? Consumer Cellular was not able to help. Thank you.

Call Consumer Cellular's tech support number and ask if they can talk you through setting up the APN for that phone.

If not, find a friendly independent cellphone store, and see if he wants a permanent customer. (It's 5 minutes of work, including browbeating CC into giving him the data, so he should be willing to do it for free, just to get you as a customer. I would have when I had my store. I did many times.)
