Samsung galaxy I5800-sms

I updated my android 2.1 to 2.2 on my samsung galaxy I5800. I followed the procedures posted in this forum. Now I am not able to use sms application.Each time I open it says "process android.mms" has stoped unexpectedly. Please help

Are you sure you used the process for your exact phone model? Phones are very finicky with updates.
