ok guys is easy for 6 dollars at any auto parts shop is JB KWIK weld cold and a little later imaginations try to put some more pictures to give you an idea but remember that you first have to buy the battery on ebay or amazon because this is the mold to set up the cold solder

@ersfrangel, That is made with JB weld? I am very impressed. Did you cut out a hole in a oem cover then build it up? Looks really smooth.

I wish I was savvy enough to make something like that. I don't think I'd be able to even with instructions. I'd totally sell it. ECONOMICS 101 - Supply and Demand.

Anyway, I don't even own an indulge yet, but after reading this forum for a few months and the #1 issue is battery life, I'd buy 2 of those covers.
 
now that you have mock up you can just build a mold for it, once the mold is built you can pump those out like crazy

google injection molding, you can do it too
 
I went to the metro pcs store and said he had lost the battery cover and gave it to me. I went after another look and said the same thing and gave me two more caps. That's what I did the first cover I am much wind but the second I'm much better
 
have you tested the cover with the larger battery? which battery specifically works? also, when are making some to sell? I want to get one asap so i can buy a larger battery. Keep us updated and im sure many people will buy it.
 
I manufactured my cover and put the photos just to give ideas to a problem that we all want to solve this phone. but I have not the slightest idea of how to make the mold I'd like to buy original covers and I think the weekend could make sure at least 15 and able to tell them not to start recharging the battery on the phone. I get a sign saying that does not support it but I have an external charger and original battery. when I will charge an application to another. I'm guessing you are saying that when you hooked up the charger to the phone it gave you an error nessage, but that the extended battery you have will charge in the charger you bought?
I never did put my extended battery in the phone and hook up the charger while the extended battery was in the phone. I only charged it in my metro usb charger.
I'll put the extended battery in and try the in phone charger and report back.......

This is the error message that pops up as soon as I plug the charger into the phone with the extended battery installed in the Indulge.
I guess the circuit board can't handle the extra load on the charger? Interesting. Never thought that would be an issue. But the usb charger seems to charge it fine.

I'm just an auto mechanic with some ideas. all help is good and money better but really all this I do to solve the problems not solve metro pcs. to help this wonderful forum. if you can give me more imformacion what ploastico injection and I shall see how to do to get someone to manufacture the covers. not only for this phone for any android that has no extended battery if the battery made ​​with original cover extendido.recuerda I manufactured the different phones that have the same battery just that some others do not extend it

Here's just a suggestion .. make a small sample at a reasonable price that is at little cost to make and see how it goes. If it goes good, then great, if not..we'll hey there was little risk to begin with. Maybe even bundle it with a well tested battery so folks don't have to go all over the place to find it.. Folks need the battery solution before the cover am I right?

Or .. if you really don't want to get into any of that you can always post a step by step guide in Spanish or with lots of pictures and if we want it bad enough we'll find a way to translate it and make it happen.

Me? I just so happen to not be into building stuff and would rather pay if its reasonable price and a good solution.
 
I will try to get more battery cover and if I can make it be able to do all that you buy and bace at my expense and my time I'll post the price. Tomorrow I'll try to get more cover and if possible manufactures who can. I'll let you know
