Samsung Galaxy Note II problem.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II, about 3months out of warranty. I cannot view my photos or videos. Any dates or Notifications do not alert me even though I have ticked the right "boxes". There are probably other problems but I can't think of them at the moment. I contacted our local phone shop and they suggested I back up on my PC which I did but the back up did not include my contacts, then I should Restore Factory Settings. I haven't restored the factory settings because of the contact list. What should I do??

Hiya Cathy and welcome to Android forums!

Your contacts should be backed up to your Google account. Otherwise you should be good to do a FDR (factory data reset).

Otherwise take advantage of the link sir Don supplied you with to get more help and support with your GN2.
