Help samsung galaxy pc connection

hi everyone just purchased a new samsung galaxy s i9000 put in my usb lead to connect to my computer and it asks for the disc i dont have can anyone help me please so i can down load stuff to my phone thank you

Download Android sdk and use the USB driver there. After that you will never have any problem with it.

You can download the drivers from
[Drivers] MS Windows x86 and x64 USB Drivers for Samsung Galaxy S - xda-developers

Don't use those. They are old and you should only use drivers that really do work.
Android sdk drivers is always up to date and they do work.
