Help Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 wifi hardware problem

Hey, I just got my Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 about a week ago from Amazon. Everything was running smoothly for the first few days until I discovered a problem with my wifi. Unlike others who have experienced problems with their connectivity to access points, my device seems to have an internal problem. Every time I go to toggle on or off the wifi, it gives me an error message. The toggle button from the drop down menu goes dark green. I've tried doing a factory reset but still encountered the same problem. I've scoured the internet and have yet to find someone else with a problem that matches mine. If anyone has any suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them. I'm thinking about exchanging it for another model through Amazon, but if this is a reoccurring problem I may just choose the refund option.

It is not a reoccuring problem, that I assure you. (i have 4 sgp's and none have problems)
Now have you installed any new apps recently? Perhaps you can connect one of the apps to the problem. Think did the problem start after a specific app was installed?

I ask this because one day my wifi was getting stuck(icon not fully dark green nor gray) turning off. It would stay in the light green state forever and sometimes I would get error messages also.
I uninstalled limewire and juice defender and problem was fixed! Not sure which one it was, but I think it was juice defender due to its wifi controlling features.
I think that 90% of the time these weird problems are due to apps. Hope you find the problem. If not dont worry about getting another device though because this is a very rare problem.
