its a well known problem with the samsung galaxy prevail, over all it was just a bad phone that samsung made you would have to download a task manager to kill all the running apps in the back ground frequently to clear your rom a low memory causing it to lag a lot or freeze your phone the gingerbread update should have fixed all those problems by now
