I know that a few folks on hear have already gotten root with varying degrees of success.

Received a software update.
Anyone else get it?
I wonder if it is just a prep for the lollipop update?
 
just got the same update, thought it was lollipop....damn. Seems like sprint is rolling out the same update

Maybe lollipop will roll out by the end of the summer.
The Galaxy Core prime has the 5.0.2 update rolling out in a few European countries starting in May.
 
I would hold off taking any OTAS. Might want to keep this bootloader a little while longer. Some type of development has to happen soon for 4.4. If you go to lollipop there is no coming back. One of my gs4's I didn't get the ota and now I can flash back and forth from 4.3 to 5.0. If I took the ota I'd be stuck with lollipop bootloader. Verizon gs4 received lollipop in two separate updates. Probably same thing here...maybe? I don't know. We shall see.
 
Does anyone know where I can find the stock firmware for the g360p. I can't get through all the freakin ads long enough to find one. Sick of bullshit download links that waste my time, and try to get my ****in info.
 
The core prime has had lollipop role out in the UK, Spain, Italy, Bosnia, Poland, and a few other places in Europe since may.
3 country's in the last 7 days. At this point I think it will be end of September being of August for the Prevail lte to get it.

That's the last one not the one that was just released, but the current one just had a few bug fixes so that one should work.

Thank you, but I did use Google first. Ive already been there numerous times before i asked the question.If you read my post I asked for one not littered with your ads that I have already wasted enough time trying to use. I'll find it elsewhere, thank you.
