Help Samsung Galaxy S II X T989 - Pulse Notification Light

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S II X T989 with Koodo Mobile.

When I go to Settings > Display, there is an option to check off a box for "Pulse Notification Light".

As far as I know, there is no Pulse Notification Light for this phone?

I have it enabled, but there is no light.
