Help Samsung Galaxy S - Indian thread

yeah that would be good...you can give our references (so many unhappy galaxy owners here) if you like...we should make them realise that its high time they come up with proper quality product else they gonna loose many customers, many like me are planning to go towards HTC .. I know HTC will have their issues but at least their software is not that problamatic.

They got to listen to their customers who pay for their products .. its bcoz of us they able to sell their products and become millionaires :)

Hello!

Does anyone have a problem with their phone switching off at random?

Mine just did! I'd heard of similar cases on the Bell-provided phones in the USA, but when I asked about the international version, they didn't seem to have a problem with those.

The battery was at 50%, the only applications running were Nimbuzz, LauncherPro. When I switched it on again, it's in Safe Mode.

I'm afraid I might be being pulled into the black holes of the Galaxy... Please let me know if anyone else has encountered this, and if so, were you able to solve it? How? Replacement piece or adjust some settings?

Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to mention - it loses reception occasionally for a couple of seconds ( from 4 to none and back to 4, all of a sudden). This isn't a network problem because it never happend on my E71.

If these problems aren't encountered by anyone else, I think I might have to take this phone for a replacement?

Did you try flashing some firmware ? It could be a bad flash if you did . Try reflashing after following the correct instructions ....Otherwise just return the piece... Maybe flawed hardwarewise ...

Nope, I haven't flashed it yet. It's just a week old, the problem hasn't repeated yet, but if it does again, I'm going to take it back to the store and have it looked into I guess..

i had read somewhere that in the case of paid apps, the downloads tab 'remembers' what you had installed and you can install it directly after u flash.. so you dont need to buy once again..

well if thats the cae then its gr8, and will the download tab remember the free apps also which we installed
