Samsung Galaxy S issue

Hello everyone, i log here to ask for advice. i have Galaxy S, bought in Cyprus, Europe. so far i don't receive the Gingerbread update, it's been a while since the release, i'm not keen in phone software and i don't know how can i update it myself. besides, my phone start to develop AI as it start to be irresponsive to touch, even switching off - only if i remove the battery... will be appreciate any answer on that

I don't know if Cyprus works the same way, but system updates in the U.S. are only available through the Samsung Kies sync'ing software. If you need any help with that, I am sure someone in Samsung Galaxy S - Android Forums will be able to offer you some advice.
