hi bought a galaxy s i9000 on 2.2 froyo but noticed its rooted ? cant update to gingerbread via kies coz of this any1 got a simple way to remove this or any help would be good

I am not familiar with the unroot process for the SGS. You would be best off checking in androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s/ (especially the all things root section), as other users of the same device will be best to help you.
