Help Samsung Galaxy S2 Camera Problem (not pink spot)

Hello everyone, I have just bought a Samsung galaxy 2 and I have a problem when I use the flash with the camera. A large pink smear appears on the edge of the picture.I don't know if this is hardware or software related but my phone came already with the camera firmware that was released on augoust installed.

I have gone with my phone to the technical service and they have told me I will have replaced my camera the next week, but I'm afraid because they don't really know if this is hardware or software related...

I'm not using any case that might be affecting the photo.

You could try installing the Camera.apk from here:

These are all the default SII apps (may vary depending on the source of your unit)

Checked with a friend and he claimed that he had the same problem but only when his phone started to lag. He claims restarting the phone fresh fixed his problem.

Tried installed the camera.apk but It couldn't be installed. My phone is not rooted and it is with branded rom now because this week I am gonna have my camera replaced. By the way, I've tried changing the version. 2.3.3, 2.3.4, 2.3.5...with wipe Cache and wipe Partition with no success so I guess this is a hardware related problem.

I suppose your friend had this problem for a while and with a fresh start was gone, I'm not so lucky

They have replaced my camera today but still the same problem, It must be a flash failure :_(
