Hi guys, I am desperate for some advice here. My samsung galaxy s2 is stuck on flight mode. I have tried all the usual things such as battery out for long time, factory reset, change of SIM cards but its still stuck. The phone appears to be unrooted, it was bought from car phone warehouse in the UK and can be used on all UK networks.
I have tried installing the Galaxy S2 repair app but it requests a busybox update to 1.17.1. I have tried to load this busybox level from the busybox app but this keeps failing. I have also tried other versions of busybox but they also won't load. For info I have never once tampered with updating the software to ics or jellybean. Can I do this via wifi or do I need a laptop with klies?
My next step was to take to the Samsung repair centre, any ideas on how to fix this problem or what it would cost samsung to fix?
I would love just to bin it off but can't afford a new handset just yet.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Rgds
