samsung galaxy s2 help

[TheRev84]

hi can anyone help me?

basically ive smashed the screen on my samsung galaxy s2, and i cant afford the ridiculous amount its going to cost to fix it yet..
i was wondering if theres anyway i can install anything onto my laptop so that i can control my phone remotely from my laptop?

my phone hasnt been rooted, and there is a screen lock on my phone.
all i really want it for is to get access to my photos and contacts, and maybe the texts that are on my phone?

im a bit of a noob with android as before this i was an iphone geek..

any help would be massively appreciated
thanks

i dont believe you can see your phone's screen without rooting your phone. I have an app that does this but it requires root access.

unless someone here knows a non-rooted way, i'm not aware of one.

is there any way of rooting the phone without using the screen?

[APP]SuperOneClick v2.3.1 - Automatic Driver Installation! - xda-developers

a few people said that this version of superoneclick works well on the GS2 but I have yet to try it. everything is done on your PC so no need for the screen. The problem is even after you root it, you still need your phone's screen to setup the app that you need to use to remotely view your phone. So i think this is all a waste of time for you.
