Help Samsung galaxy S2 randomly shuts off...

I have looked everywhere for a fix to my problem*My phone will randomly turn off and won't come back on even though I have full battery. The only way I can get it to come back on is if I take out the battery. Even when I it comes back on I get the green android man pop up on my screen then a bunch of small text. The text instructs me to use my volume control as an up and down control and power button as an enter. It gives me a few options to reboot my phone and to erase files or something along those lines. I always hit reboot and my phone comes back without loosog any information.*Any idea what's going on

Mine too just randomly shuts off. The only way I can turn it back on is if I remove the battery and then it comes on. Its all because of that crappy ICS....it sure wasn't compatible with the GS2. Hopefully we get the jelly bean FAST.
