When I connect my samsung galaxy s2 to my laptop with a usb cord, it doesn't come up in "my computer"so I can't dowload anything from the computer.

Sorry you're having this issue, have you enabled USB Mass Storage on the phone?

I'm also going to move your thread to the Galaxy S2 forums, for more support!

Edit: Who's your carrier? So I can move it to the appropriate section :)

Do you have an option on the phone to "mount as disk drive"? or something like that?
Perhaps a different cord will work?
Not exactly familiar with that phone but I know we all can help you out here.....I just looked for your phone in the forum, there are alot of s2's to choose from...do you know which Galaxy s2 phone you have?
