Help Samsung Galaxy S3 can't transfer contacts to car

I think that the latest update, Android 4.4.2, broke the transfer process between my phone and my car. What can I do to get it working again please.... It worked a while back .
Bluethooth OK on both device, pairing works fine, my car recognize the phone, I can input a number and dial out from the car BUT I CAN'T get my contact list anymore, in the car I can see that the transfer process starts but stop right away with ¨Transfer Failure¨ message
I tried my son's IPhone and everything works fine, even the contact list transfer work.

I just found, by accident, what was causing my problem.
There was many invalid entries in my contact file on the phone. Getting rid of them was not easy, a couple of software tools were needed to be successful.

Unfortunately I do not remember which software I used and I deleted them from my phone after fixing my problem.

I suggest you go to the Google Play Store and search for Contact management tools.

You will find many tools so try a few, do not stop at one because they all do different things.
For example I had many 'empty' entries that needed to be erased but one tool I use didn't see them.

What really triggered my research for tools is the fact that, on my phone, I was getting I/O errors when I was trying to share namecard via outlook. (Contacts - share namecard via - Select all - Done - Outlook)
