If you have Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean, go to Settings > About Phone > and go to your Android version and tap on it really fast. You'll see the Android for ICS then hold down on the screen and there's the easter egg.
I find it's different for Jelly Bean, but should react the same when you hold down on the screen. :)
 
Yeah jelly bean gives you jellybeans flying around the screen when u long press the 1st one.. gingerbread had a gingerbread mandroid gettin chased by zombies lol (anything to do with apple users?).
Anyone know what came before GB?
 
Not sure if anyone else has found this but go to settings, about device, and keep pressing android version 4.1.2

A jellybean appears! Press on him then it'll say Jellybean 4.1.2 below. Next hold your finger on him and push upwards to reveal loads of beans to flick :)
 
Oh yeah, I've found that before and thought it was pretty cool. It's different also for ICS and other previous ones such as Gingerbread. :)
 
Another one I found. When I'm listening to music on my headphones if I hold volume up it jumps forward a song and vice versa for volume down. Very handy!

Just to add this will only work when the phone is locked! Nearly blew my ear drums trying it unlocked lol
 
Doesn't matter it's not an easter egg, was just saying. It's not fast forward or reverse anyway. It's previous and next track!

Anyway Metroid Prime likes it right?

Think youve had enough easter eggs anyway pmsl
 
Hi there. Im so sorry to just randomly come in on your post but im new at this forum business and im getting so confused and frustrated..... all I need is a bit of help and I'll be on my way......

I changed the settings on my phone to allow an app to download from a random source and now I want to change it back but I can't because I can't remember how.

Can someone please help me!!!!!

And I couldnt find a post about settings then I thought.... bugger it.... surely some nicr person will help and then I saw this post so I clicked and here you are :)

My 4 year old loves this. I let him play with it the other day, and he started saying " candy cane". I looked over at the screen, and sure enough, there were little candy canes on the screen too. What does it mean? Is that some secret hint about a future version of android software?

Is that those hook shaped sticks of 'candy' you see in old movies, cartoons etc?
If so, they dont appear on mine :confused:
 
Need to play with that more, now and then those hook shaped candies do make their appearance. Well, it's not hinting anything, just something that goes well with JB. They change the Easter Egg with many major updates. The next one is probably going to be Key Lime Pie.
