Help Samsung Galaxy s3 mini alarm not working.

Hey Guys, I'm new to this forum...

For the past couple of days I have been having problems with my alarm clock, it seems to turn itself off in the night, Friday (8/11) my alarm was set for half 5 and I checked it and all was fine, I woke up at 6:15 and the alarm was turned off, I just thought maybe I done it, but it happened the next morning aswell and I know it was set because i woke up at 6 and checked the alarm was still on for 8 and it was, but it never went off...
I then set my alarm to go off in one minute to see if it is my phone and once again it didn't go off... is anyone else having or have had this problem and can anyone help me please?

Actually turns out I have no sound on my phone what so ever... no ring tone or message tone works :/

I had a problem with my alarm clock . It would only make a noise for a couple of seconds then turn itself off . The way round it was to install a different alarm clock from the Play Store.
