Hi everyone,
A few days ago my Samsung Galaxy S3 was doing some kind of update when it crashed/restarted. Just before this, it had factory reset itself completely of it's own volition and it is now permanently stuck on the boot screen. The phone is about a year and a half old. Strangely enough, it had gotten into a routine of sporadically rebooting itself over the last few weeks but as it had done this one or twice in the past, I thought little of it. A few days before I'd had no major problems but I did notice that my message history had inexplicably wiped itself, so maybe that was a sign that something wasn't right.
I've tried the 'Volume Up, Home and Power button' method of getting into recovery mode several times but to no avail.
As I'm a complete tech novice I have little or no idea of what I should do next. I'm particularly concerned that I may lose of my date (especially my photos) so would greatly appreciate any advice you could give me!
