Samsung Galaxy S3 USB cannot be detected by MAC

Hi Guys,

I have been bugged by this for a month since i bought an S3 whenever i connect the phone to my IMAC in the office thru USB MAC does not detect the storage but its charging perfectly. Is there some restrictions with the Android Version ICS to Apple OS? :confused:
