I have a SamSung Galaxy S 3 running Android 4.1.1
My Router is a Netgear Dualband WNDR3400
I have been having problems with my wifi connection going in and out constantly on my phone.
First thing I want to mention is that I have 3 PCs, a 360, and several Apple Devices connected alongside my Galaxy S3. My Galaxy S3 is the only device that gives me problems.
I have tried a solution posted here---> http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/566171-wifi-issues-disconnects-etc-fixed-me.html
Unfortunately this changes nothing as I can literally watch the connection go in and out on the debug menu and on the notification bar up top. The only constant is the IP Address which I have verified with the rest of my devices whether it is causing conflicts or not and it is NOT.
I have disabled the option to turn wifi off during sleep as well. I have reset the connection at the phone's end(deleted the network and readded it).
The solution I found was posted here --> http://androidforums.com/samsung-ga...-s3-wifi-connection-problems.html#post5135368
This is the latest solution I have found to this problem and before I go and do this I would like confirmation from the community that it works.
My alternative solution, which I would need confirm also, is an upgrade. In Octoberish I am due for an upgrade and am looking at the Galaxy S4. However before I invest in such product one of the most important points would be is this problem still present in the Galaxy S4?
