Help Samsung galaxy s4 Gallery issues

The layout of my photo gallery on my samsung gallery s4 phone has changed by itself.
when I used to open a folder it would show the normal layout of all the pictures but now when I open any folder, the pictures are enlarged, shown one by one underneath each other. How could this have happened and how can I change this?

If you pinch to zoom/shrink (like you would viewing a website) it changes the layout of your gallery. Just zoom in or out until it's back to how you want it

If you will tap the word "Pictures" in the top left corner of the display, you should get a drop down that will allow you to change the display format to several different options. My personal favorite is Time.
