I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and I want to know how to turn off the network search.
My phone always says "WiFi Network found" when I'm outside and the battery loses charge quickly. How can I turn this off?
 
Hi Syyntax, and welcome to AF :)

Turning-off WiFi when you are out would be the best solution power-wise.

There should be a network notification setting ("notify me when an open network is available"), but I don't know for sure whether turning this off will reduce scanning or just stop it telling you.
