Samsung Galaxy S4 mini Pandora Bluetooth connection

I stream Pandora through my GM MyLink connection in my new Chevy. It worked fine until about a month ago and now it does not. Typically I get an error message on the car screen that there is an error with the connecting device ( S4 mini). However, Pandora will often come up on the screen, play one song and than lockup, i.e., the song and screen are displayed but song will not play. Chevy dealer tried three other Motorola Droid phone and they work. GM says that the phone is faulty. I've tried all of the typical Pandora recommended fixes but nothing works.

Have you tried going into recovery wiping caches? Factory reset?

I tried this and all of the other apparent fixes to no avail. Three other Motorola Droids played successfully through my GM MYLink GM lists a large no. of Samsung Android phones that are not compatible with MyLink. Going to ditch the Samsung for a Motorola Droid.
