Root Samsung Galaxy s5 can't be rooted

I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 SM-G900A. I have tried several methods to root my phone and every method ends with root not available or device can't be rooted. Is this true? Does anyone know a way to get my phone rooted?

I'm guessing that you could best get help from the SG S5 root area (http://androidforums.com/forums/root-samsung-galaxy-s5.2583/)--I'm not Samsung guy, but there's lots of great and very knowledgeable folks over there who I'm sure could help you.

I am afraid that the AT&T carrier minority variant, G900A, of the Galaxy S5 is unrootable, as per #1.6 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide.
