Help Samsung Galaxy S5 root/un-root newbie help

Hi and thanks in advance. I have read through some threads but most of it is over my head. I bought a slightly used S5 and it is rooted. What I would like to do is "un-root" it so I can receive updates etc normally.
Can/How do I accomplish that?

alternatively, can i just update with KIES and not worry about anything "bad" happening?

Model: SM-G900P
Current Android ver: 4.4.2
Current Firmware: PDA:ND2 / CSC:ND2 / PHONE:ND2 (SPR)
 
If its just rooted, no custom ROM (stock rooted) you should still receive updates without problems. if you're dead set on unrooting you should be able to just flash the firmware using kies. You'd want 4.4.4 more than likely.
