Hi All,
I have a Gmail account and have tried to delete trash from every app I have; gmail, inbox, and email (the one I use most). The deleted email gets sent to trash where supposedly it sits there for a little while and then gets removed from the phone's trash folder permanently. Even if I manually attempt to remove the trashed files, they remain. I have over 300 (a lucky little memento from trying to transfer my files from my old phone to my new phone using the 'Smart-bait &-Switch' app)
This is obviously not an isolated issue with gs6, as I had gs4 and had basically the same problem, only with gs6 you can seemingly swipe each email to delete it where you couldn't with gs4. (its been asked but never answered, at least to my knowledge).
I have Sprint so i don't know if this is their doing, but there was a discussion about a way to batch delete files by selecting the 'select boxes' or 'select all box' at the top of the page, and while I have the 'select boxes', I have no 'select all' option. Either I click on each one individually or I swipe it, so what is the point of the select boxes in the first place; and second, if it is just being sent to a trash folder that gets bigger and bigger until it will eventually take up my entire drive what's the point; and third, if I have a Gmail app, an inbox app, and an email app with what seem like redundant folders, are split up differently and called different names, are these files copies of themselves or are they (thankfully) atleast just pointing to the same file?
Thanks,
Alexis
